The BA (Honours) Design – Graphic Design is a 3-year undergraduate degree program designed for students who aspire to build professional careers in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Branding, Advertising, UI/UX, Digital Media, and Creative Industries.

Offered in affiliation with Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU), Hyderabad, this program follows the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and combines strong design fundamentals, creative thinking, technical skills, and industry-oriented practice.

Students develop a solid foundation in drawing, colour, typography, visual communication, and graphic design, and progress towards advanced advertising, branding, digital design, web, UI/UX, and portfolio development.

Year 1 – Foundation in Art & Visual Communication
Semester I

Focus:
Developing observation skills, drawing ability, colour understanding, visual literacy, and communication skills.

Year 1 – Foundation in Art & Visual Communication
Semester II
Focus: Understanding visual language, human perception, colour theory, life drawing, and communication psychology.
Year 2 – Core Graphic Design Skills
Semester III
Focus: Advertising concepts, illustration styles, typography fundamentals, logo design, layout, and visual storytelling.
Year 2 – Core Graphic Design Skills
Semester IV
Focus: Print production, pre-press techniques, advanced typography, branding systems, packaging design, and photography.
Year 3 – Digital Design, UI/UX & Professional Practice
Semester V
Focus: Advertising campaigns, web and digital design, UI/UX fundamentals, image editing, and applied design projects.
Year 3 – Digital Design, UI/UX & Professional Practice
Semester VI
Focus: Creating a professional design portfolio, executing a major design project, and preparing for careers or freelancing.
